About

“Released Time Classes” refers to the release of students during the school day for religious instruction.  These classes are allowed by federal law provided that the classes are offered free of charge, off school property, and that parental consent is given.  Here in Pennsylvania, the state law is worded such that schools are obligated to release students once parental consent is given.

Our Programs

With the help of about 100 volunteers, CBM of Southwest PA is currently offering Released Time Classes in 28 schools across Greene, Fayette, and Washington counties.
